It’s the final day of NaBloPoMo and I am deeply joyous to be able to say I did it; I wrote a blog post every single day and completed this challenge!
To some this is an easy feat, to me it is a very personal victory and a massive confidence boost that I can achieve a goal that even this time last year would have been impossible for me. And that’s not just because my blog did not exist last year 😉
I feel like I achieved quite a bit in learning how to blog more successfully, which was one of the things I hoped would happen. I learned how to embed videos, how to re blog (yes I really was that much of a wordpress noob), how to alter content and, more importantly, that it is ok to alter content. I’ve gained a little more insight into what interests people in the blogging world while gaining 9 followers, who I hope will continue to find this blog interesting, and finding a few blogs I’m looking forward to reading again. I’ve learned plenty of other things that right now I have forgotten, but lets just pretend they are passive skills and that’s ok.
I’m not going to lie, I’m looking forward to not feeling I have to post every single day. Especially now the Christmas season has truly begun. I’m hoping to keep things more regular than they were, but I’m not going to churn out posts for the sake of it when I am not 100% happy with the content (an unfortunate downside to NaBloPoMo).
It’s been a fun journey, and I’d like to thank all of you who have viewed and liked my posts over the last month. Plus, congrats to all you others who have just completed NaBloPoMo (and of course, those NaNoWriMo victors; go get that novel polished and published!). We all rock 🙂
This is a totally pointless post to be honest. But I have not missed a day of NaBloPoMo yet, I am not doing so on the second to last day!
I had planned on writing another proper post. But honestly, there’s an exp boost on World of Warcraft at the minute and I’d rather push my hunter to max level than write a WordPress post tonight. Hey, at least I’m honest right? I mean, I’ve neglected this character for a year or so. I think I can neglect WordPress for one night and give her some attention 😉
Have a great Sunday, WoW player or not 🙂
Black Thunder bars are fairly well known and are a mash up of dark cocoa cookie pieces, plain cookies pieces, rice puffs and chocolate poured into a block like bar. This version, Big Black Thunder, is larger, thinner and seems to have little to nothing in common with the original Black Thunder bars, as it is essentially a large chocolate coated biscuit. Which is fine by me, I love chocolate biscuits ^_^
We got this one as part of our November Oyatsu Box.

Our November Oyatsu Box finally arrived, yay! I’m impressed it was only 2 days later than the estimated delivery dates of between the 16th and the 25th considering it’s the Christmas period. Honestly I was expecting a bigger delay, so I’m pleasantly surprised. I do wish more people would bear this in mind before they complain at companies as I’ve seen a lot of people being pretty harsh towards a lot of companies lately. It’s just the time of year, relax 🙂
If you’re interested in picking up an Oyatsu Box of your own, you can find the subscription offers over here. You can also find most of the snacks from the boxes for sale over on Oyatsu Cafe.
Let’s see what was in this months box, shall we?

A gorgeous photo post by @atkinsm1212. As this is just one of many, I reccomend checking their blog out 🙂

It’s day 25 of NaBloPoMo. I can’t help but feel at this point I haven’t really written all that much that is worth reading, so with only 5 days left I do feel the urge to write (or indeed photograph) something spectacular to redeem myself.
Tonight is not that night.
Tonight I am going to be curled up with ice cream, because while I know ice cream doesn’t make it all better (and with my lactose intolerance can actually make it worse) it’s still a good comfort food.
On a completely related and more positive note, this Ben and Jerry’s Cinnamon Buns flavour ice cream is simply amazing. It’s old news to a lot of you internet people I’m sure, but for a small town girl in the UK like me this is a totally new thing. I wish Ben and Jerry’s would release their full range here, or at least a few more. I can’t help but feel my ice cream journey shall never be complete until I have sampled at least several dozen more flavour combinations.
So, good night from me. May tomorrow bring productive blog posts to all 🙂
It’s that time of year again; time to get all my BJDs unstrung, cleaned, elastic tightened then put back together in their new season appropriate outfits. Even with a relatively small doll collection this takes a lot of time!
For those who may not know, BJD stands for Ball Jointed Doll (often seen as ABJD or Asian Ball Jointed Doll). If you’d like to read more about them this wiki article is a good start.
The BJD hobby has a wonderful variety of people who use their dolls in many different ways. My favourite aspect of the hobby is photography, so today I’m going to create a post filled with photographs I have taken of these beautiful dolls over the years. Leaving out my abysmally bad first attempts, of course 😉
I hope you enjoy!
